When Spectrum Milan approached us for an editorial featuring the Arc'teryx Alpha jacket, we knew it had to be more than just a showcase—it needed a story. The jacket’s futuristic design inspired us to explore the contrast between light and darkness, set against a landscape that doesn’t exist in reality. This ambitious vision led us to an unexpected yet perfect filming location: a burned forest near Gorizia, Slovenia, charred by wildfires in 2022.


The setting was haunting yet striking—a surreal, otherworldly backdrop that set the tone for our narrative. In this environment, we imagined a human-alien figure, lost in an unfamiliar terrain, navigating the ruins of this strange world. The Alpha jacket became a symbol of resilience, seamlessly blending into the eerie beauty of the landscape while hinting at survival and adaptation.
