For Kia’s event in Korea, we approached Opposites United as an exercise in balancing precision with abstraction. The challenge was to create an element that felt both tangible and elusive, a glass-like form that existed in a dark, undefined space yet carried weight and presence. Crafting its motion was a meticulous process—every rotation had to feel intentional, every reflection calibrated to reinforce the tension between opposites.
The final touch was a visual echo effect applied in post-production, adding depth and continuity to the movement. This subtle layering gave the piece an almost meditative quality, transforming a simple rotation into something more fluid and immersive. The project became not just an animation, but an exploration of how contrast can shape perception.
